INTERMEDIATE RIGGING COURSE (RIIHAN210A)
Course Overview:
This three day training program focuses primarily on the construction, mining and manufacturing industries etc, where staff need to be able to erect tilt-up panels, erect and dismantle lattice boom and tower cranes and perform demolition work.
Recommended For:
Any person who has to erect tilt-up panels, conduct multiple crane lifts, erect and dismantle cranes or perform demolition work, etc.
Pre-requisites:
The candidate must be 18 Years of age, have a sound knowledge of the English language and hold a Dogging and Basic Rigging Certificate of Competency or Licence to Perform High Risk Work.
Learning Outcomes:
- Take precautions to prevent accidents when erecting tilt-up panels.
- Calculate and supervise multiple crane lifts
- Describe and demonstrate the correct procedures for demolition
- Erect and dismantle lattice and tower cranes
- Erect and secure a cantilevered crane-loading platform
