Course Overview:        

This one day training program focuses primarily on the construction, mining and manufacturing industries etc, where staff need to be able to correctly read and interpret   permits in order to  ensure they are compliant with permits issued.

Recommended For:

Any person who has to use  permits to complete specific job tasks on site.

Pre-requisites:

Nil.

Learning Outcomes:

Access and interpret information relevant to specific tasks (eg labels, MSDSs)

Identify changes to conditions which may lead to the permit being revoked before the job is completed.

Describe and/or explain hazards associated with tasks covered by the permit.

The impact of regulatory framework and organisation procedures under which the permit operates upon the particular job(s) requiring the permit.
