UEPOPS221A Shift and Transfer Materials using a Front-End Loader

This five day training program focuses primarily on the construction and mining industries where staff are required to operate a Front-End Loader.

Recommended For

Any person who needs to be certified as competent to be able to operate a Front-End Loader. 

Pre-requisites

The candidate must hold UEPOPS201A Comply with Occupational Health and Safety Policy and Procedures. The candidate must have a sound knowledge of the English language.

Learning Outcomes

Take precautions to prevent accidents when using heavy earth moving equipment

Conduct pre-operational checks of the machine

State operator responsibilities under legislation

Identify and remove hazards that could affect heavy earth moving equipment operations

Demonstrate correct start-up and sit-down procedures

Demonstrate the diff rent types of operations of the machine
