ELEVATING WORK PLATFORM (RIIHAN301A) or EWP Training

Course Overview

This one-day experienced or two-day non-experienced ewp training program focuses primarily on the construction, mining, manufacturing and related industries, where staff need to be able to operate Elevating Work Platforms.

Recommended for any person who needs to be elevated to a height of 11 meters or more, by means of a work platform.

Pre-requisites

The candidate must be 18 years of age or over and have a sound knowledge of the English language.

Learning Outcomes

Take precautions to prevent accidents when using a elevated work platform.

Conduct pre-operational checks of the machine.

State operator responsibilities under legislation.

Identify and remove hazards that could affect EWP operations.

Demonstrate correct start-up and shut down procedures.
