This five-day training program
focuses primarily on the construction and mining industries, etc, where staff need to be able to
operate heavy earth moving equipment. |

| Any person who needs to be certified as competent in the use of heavy earth moving equipment. |
~ Pre-requisites |
| The candidate must be 18 years of
age or older and have a sound knowledge of the English language. |
| ~ Learning Outcomes |
- Take precautions to prevent accidents when using heavy earth moving equipment
- Conduct pre-operational checks of the machine
- State operator responsibilities under legislation
- Identify and remove hazards that could affect heavy earth moving equipment operations
- Demonstrate correct start-up and sit-down procedures
- Demonstrate the diff rent types of operations of the machine
