Course Overview

This one-day course is designed to give participants an understanding of the operation and practical wearing of self contained breathing apparatus

Recommended for

People involved in occupations, where the use of Self Contained Breathing Apparatus may be required.

Learning Outcomes: On completion of the course participants will be able to:

Understand SCBA in irrespirable atmospheres.

Understand operation of a SCBA set.

Understand & demonstrate service and inspection procedures.

Demonstrate & be competent in the wearing of a SCBA set with training exercises involving irrespirable atmospheres.

Understand and demonstrate correct entry control procedures.

Demonstrate team working skills when using SCBA equipment.

Emergency procedures.

Our training personnel are fully qualified and have many years experience in the fire and emergency response industry

Location

Courses can be conducted Australia wide or at our office 12 Sparks Road, Henderson, WA.

Training can also be conducted internationally.

 Participants must be medically fit, have no fear of confined Spaces or darkness. Facial hair must be limited to trimmed moustaches only, No beards are allowed as AS-1715-1994.
