CPCCBC4946A Perform Advanced Scaffolding

Course Overview:

This three day training program focuses primarily on the construction, mining and manufacturing industries etc, where staff need to be able to erect and dismantle hung scaffolds, erect and dismantle suspended scaffolds.

Recommended For:

Any person who has to erect and dismantle hung scaffolds, erect and dismantle suspended scaffolds and calculate the amount of counter weight for suspended scaffolds.

Pre-requisites:

The candidate must be 18 Years of age, and have a sound knowledge of the English language and hold a Basic and Intermediate Scaffolding Certificate of  Competency or High Risk Work License.

Learning Outcomes:

Take precautions to prevent accidents when erecting scaffolding.

Identify defects found in scaffolding equipment.

Describe and demonstrate the correct procedure for erecting a suspended scaffold

Erect and dismantle hung scaffolds from chains, wire rope and tubes.

Erect and secure counter weights to a suspended scaffold
